Where will I be able to use my laptop?
You can use your laptop anywhere using battery power, and there will be many power outlets that you can use to plug into and
to charge your batteries on campus. You will be able to connect to the campus from your home using the built-in modem and the
telephone. While on campus, you will be able to connect to any of a great many connections in the library, labs, student
centers and elsewhere using your ethernet card. In addition, using your wireless modem card you will be able to connect to
campus computers with no physical connection at all from virtually anywhere on campus.

Is this computer a good deal for me and why?
(Not available for Fall 2003 incoming Class)
Poly has worked very hard with IBM and software vendors to get you a powerful, state-of-the-art computer. You benefit by our
being able to purchase these computers and software packages in volume. You would have to spend close to twice the price of
leasing and then owning your laptop if you purchased them separately.
